This week around Happy Valley brings a remarkable amount of activity including live music, family outings, outdoor events, and community gatherings.

It is also a good week to think about the future of State College itself. Tomorrow, the East End Social Ribbon Cutting & Block Party Season Kickoff celebrates a new gathering space downtown, while on Monday, the Downtown State College Improvement District Reauthorization Public Discussion at the State College Municipal Building invites the community into a conversation about the next decade of downtown revitalization.
Healthy conversations are part of any thriving community, and this week offers both a celebration of something new and a chance to help shape what comes next.
